The International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 486 wishes to extend our most sincere condolences to the family of Officer Jospeph Johnson of the Nyssa Police Department in Nyssa, OR. Officer Johnson was shot and killed the evening of 04/15/2023 while conducting a domestic violence investigation. 

Additionally, we want to remind the public that the Ada County Sheriff's Deputy severly injured during the arrest of a suspect on 04/10/2023 is still recovering.

Both officers and their families are in our thoughts and prayers.
